What is Catalyst Writer?

Catalyst writer is a software similar to Microsoft Word, or will be soon. It will be 100% free to use and full of features once out of beta.

Status of the prototype.

The prototype is buggy, and has a singular button on the landing page. Upon pressing that button, the user will see an obviously work in progress input box available to them. They input their file name, and a new file is either created or opened in the application data (not viewable by other apps yet). The user may begin to edit and save the file as they wish.

Release?

This is one of those more complicated projects so it will take a couple of months before release. I will provide supplemental preview builds later on.

Cost?

It will be free regardless of previous joking of making it paid software.
