Everyone plays games! And almost everyone uses Windows, however we as Linux users are the minority in question. There are several ways you can run your games on Linux!

Can my steam games run?

For this, you should look toward ProtonDB. This database gives a mineral rating to all steam games based on how well they run on Linux. You can check the properties of your favorite games and test multiple versions of Proton to get the result you want within the Steam client.

Non steam games?

For this, turn to Bottles. You can create a 'bottle' and do just a tiny bit of configuration. You can follow a guide for your specific game, or go down the rabbit hole. For the most part, this will run your games fairly well for a foreign operating system.

Conclusion?

A majority of your steam library should run just fine, and you can go ahead and make your switch to Linux today!
